You can visit all these places in one day!
We advise starting the day by visiting the cave and the labyrinth as they have specific working hours and are located in the same area, and then heading to Dominicus Beach.
- Travel time from Bávaro/Punta Cana ~ 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Toll road cost – 360 pesos
- Recommended visiting time - every day from 9:00 to 16:00, except Monday, on this day the cave and labyrinth are closed
▪ Cueva de las Maravillas or Cave of Wonders - here, you have the opportunity to examine hundreds of well-preserved pictograms and petroglyphs, created by the Taino tribes several thousand years ago. This cave is one of the most accessible in the Dominican Republic, equipped with a high-quality lighting system, comfortable descents, paths, and a modern elevator. The complex also features a stable and the world's largest iguana nursery, and one of the cave halls contains a stunning mirror lake.
▪ Green Labyrinth - one of the largest labyrinths in America, covering an area of 3600 m2. A walk through it will take about half an hour.
▪ Dominicus - one of the most beautiful beaches on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. It was the first in the country to be awarded the "Blue Flag," symbolizing cleanliness, comfort, and safety. And the sunsets here are stunning! We advise staying until the sun sets — it's a unique spectacle.
The roads in the Dominican Republic are in excellent condition, partly because most of the country's main highways are toll roads. We advise keeping cash in pesos on hand to pay the tolls. The sun is intense in the country, so it’s advisable to always use: sunscreen with 50-percent protection and headgear. Also, remember that you are on a tropical island; towels, swimsuits, and flip-flops will never be superfluous.
